As a long time user of the Contax 645 system, I have a lot of Zeiss medium format glass and was wondering if there was any way to use it on the GFX 50S. Well, there is AND it allows AF to operate: it's the Fringer C645 to Fuji GFX Adapter. Very well engineered, this substantial piece of kit locks securely onto both camera and lens and you are ready to shoot. On the 50S, AF is quite slow but I don't have an issue with this as I'm hadrly likely to shoot sport with a GFX 50S. As the cost of the Fuji glass is pretty high (at least for me as an amateur), being able to supplement my 50mm and 45-100mm lenses with a wide range from ultra-wide angle to macro, including the medium format legend that is the Zeiss 80mm f2, is a real bonus and extends the use of the camera.
I have also found a nice Fotodiox Pro C/Y to GFX Adapter which will allow me to use many of the Contax Zeiss and Yashica lenses on the big Fuji.
